While Ford has no intention to bring V8 Bronco to rival the Wrangler V8, Hennessey has introduced the VelociRaptor V8 – a monster Bronco delivering up to 758 horsepower. The Texas-based tuner will swap the 2.7L twin-turbocharged V6 yielding 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque with Ford’s Coyote 5.0L V8 creating 480 hp.

Of course, Hennessey does more than just swapping. They will add a supercharger, improve the intake and exhaust systems as well as the fuel systems to unleash 780 horsepower. The engine will pair with the Bronco’s 10-speed automatic, to enable the SUV to accelerate from 0-96 kph in around 4.5 seconds.

The styling changes will encompass a custom hood with a scoop, more assertive front, and rear fascias, a modified grille, and modified aluminum wheels with off-road tires. The tuner will also improve the suspension. There will be interior changes as well.

The tuner plans to create only 24 units of the Hennessey VelociRaptor V8 Bronco for the 2021 MY. The pricing will start at $225,000, which is more than four times higher than the most expensive Bronco.
