Last month, the Hyundai luxury division Genesis released exterior pictures of the new G90 and now they have shown us the luxurious cabin and provided some technical details. We will talk specifically about the Long Wheelbase G90 model here that is perfect for VIP travels. It doesn’t matter how tall you are, it has plenty of space to stretch your legs inside.
Similar to other posh sedans, the 2022 Genesis G90 has used an abundance of quilted leather as well as a combination of real metal and wood to give a touch of opulence inside. The ambient LED lighting finds its place in the door cards.
According to the seat mode, Genesis offers 10.2-inch rear displays to entertain the occupants. The screens automatically attune for the finest viewing angle. That’s not all; we have an eight-inch tablet fixed within the UV light-sterilized armrest box splitting the rear seats to manage different functions like lighting, climate setting, massaging etc. The coating of antibacterial Silver Zinc Zeolite material helps minimise bacteria and microorganisms.
Apart from an air purifier, the 2022 Genesis G90 is the first model in the company’s line to have a built-in fragrance – just like its German competitors. The three scents it is made of include The Driver’s Awakening, The Great Outdoors, and My Favorite Place.
Besides, the posh sedan offers a four-mode Mood Curator for the first time to uplift your mood through a sound system (23-speaker Bang & Olufsen), lamps, massage seats, fragrance, and electric curtains.
The 2022 Genesis G90 does not only offer a luxurious cabin, its drive is silky smooth as well. The predictive air suspension adjusts itself as you go down a steep slope (it elevates) or take on a rough road by lifting itself by 25 mm.
There is a long list of highly advanced tech features attached to the luxury sedan. From rear-wheel steering, over-the-air updates, digital key, fingerprint authentication, head-up display to noise-cancelling, remote parking, and a Hands-On Detection (HOD) system, the Long Wheelbase variant has so many surprises for the occupants.
Below we have given technical details of the sedan.

Genesis has ditched the naturally aspirated V8 but offers an evolved twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 boasting an electric supercharger. Called e-S/C, the automaker says it offers faster torque delivery than a regular mill, enabling the car to accelerate better. This mill is exclusive to the Long Wheelbase. Unfortunately, we still couldn’t get the output ratings of the engine.
Primarily, the 2022 Genesis G90 will hit the roads in its home market first at the start of 2022. Other markets including the US and the UAE will receive the posh sedan later next year.
