Once the cheapest car in America, the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage gets a little price bump and now is the second most affordable vehicle in the states. The price starts at $14,295 against now-the-most economical $13,400 Chevrolet Spark. While Mitsubishi has lost one title, it is still regarded as the most efficient gasoline car in the USA.
The 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage and its sedan counterpart G4 house a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine creating 78 horsepower. Yes, it is not that quick on the road but it is very efficient in the fuel economy offering 36 mpg in the city, 43 on the highway, and 39 combined.
The entry-level Mirage ES hatchback comes with a five-speed manual transmission. Opt for the Continuous Variable Transmission and the price goes up by $1,300. The sedan also comes with the similar pricing model.

Both the hatch and the sedan feature a seven-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Those who want to stand apart in their Mirage can opt for Carbonite Edition, which adds a modified grille and air dam, a simple body kit for the side and rear, B-pillar decals, and contrasting red accents.
