The 2019 Chevrolet Malibu is due to arrive this fall with some impressive changes and a new trim version.
The 2019 Chevrolet Malibu will receive fancy exterior upgrades including a larger and bold grille design with a chrome bar, new headlights, and updated taillights. The exhaust tips have been repositioned as well to give an impression of increased width.
On the inside, all the 2019 Malibu’s variants will feature an 8.0-inch touch display infotainment. The upper ‘Premier’ trim can be fitted with a new 8-inch driver information display as well.
Powering the new Malibu will be a 1.5-liter turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT delivering 160 horsepower. The 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder unit will be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The most important news is that a new RS trim will be a part of the lineup boasting 18-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, black detailing, dual-exhaust pipes, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The starting price of the Malibu RS trim will be around $25,000, whereas the regular version is expected to start from $20,000.
We can’t confirm its availability in the GCC region right now.
